I am an artist and educator based in Southern California's Inland Empire whose work explores how visual storytelling, research, and design can foster dialogue around community narratives and social engagement. My practice sits at the intersection of art and education, using visual strategies to deepen public understanding of the communities and systems that shape everyday life.
My creative work spans photography, printmaking, and socially engaged art practices that center on community storytelling and engagement. Many of my projects develop out of research whether investigating the overlooked histories of Southern California’s citrus industry, exploring student experiences in higher education, or documenting local organizing. I’m interested in how art can serve as both a reflective tool and a public resource, something that opens space for conversation and collective learning.
As an educator, I focus on creating dialogue-based learning environments. I design workshops, curriculum, and museum education materials that make art approachable and relevant. Whether I’m teaching a screenprinting demo, leading a portfolio workshop, or developing interpretive materials for an exhibition, I see education as another form of creative practice.
I’m currently working on projects that blend research, community collaboration, and visual storytelling while continuing to develop my practice at the intersection of art and education. My long-term goals include expanding my work in museum education and further developing my technical skills in printmaking.
