'Fontucky' is a colloquial term used to describe the city of Fontana. Often seen as the backwoods of California, Fontana was once a city brimming with locally owned business and farmland. The city grew and so did the want for urbanization. Where homes and farms used to sit now stand rows of warehouses. It is not uncommon for some Fontana residents to call a warehouse their neighbor or for school children to see a warehouse across from their playground.
